While my trip was about seeing as much of the world as I could cram in with the budget I had, I found that for a while now I had thought of about going back to Honolulu – a place I’d been to once before and fallen completely in love with.

Vietnam :: The Cu Chi Tunnels

After being brought up on war movies by my older brother, (thanks, bro), I knew that even if I were to miss everything else in Vietnam, I would make sure to see the Cu Chi Tunnels.

Hawaii: Hawaii Five-O HQ

This is gonna be a short and nerdy post. Our Pearl Harbor tour guide, Nancy, just happened to take us up by the statue of King Kamehameha while en route to the punchbowl (cemetery). She asked if anyone wanted pictures and I had to stop myself from shouting “YES!!”. I quietly… yeah, ok, quite enthusiastically started on the Hawaii Five-O theme and she said “Thank God you did that, so I didn’t have to”. Continue reading
