“One of the most wonderful memories in my life was when I sang at the Opera House in Sydney. I will never forget that. It is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever sung in my life” – Nana Mouskouri
Sydney Opera House was another “UNESCO Heritage Site bucket list”-item… for some reason. Who knows why places like this get stuck in peoples’ minds, I certainly can’t tell.

– Jess, seeing another caravan in front of us and the rain started pouring while we were heading to the Great Ocean Road
Geelong wasn’t on my list of places to visit, but after meeting Jess I had to go see it. As an added bonus it’s really close to the Great Ocean Road – which WAS on my bucket list.

I hate cameras. They are so much more sure than I am about everything.
– John Steinbeck
I decided to try an experiment today. I was going to the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and doing a triple combo tour:
1) Ruakuri Cave
2) Aranui Cave
3) Waitomo Glow Worm Cave
I didn’t bring my camera. Continue reading
“13 months to the day, we found ourselves looking upon a familiar sight…”
– Frodo Baggins
It was a bit more than 13 months for me, it’s been nearly 4 years since I last set foot in New Zealand, but today I went to Hobbiton for the second time. Continue reading
