Went to Edinburgh March of 2025 to catch Greg Davies‘ first tour since 2017, “Full Fat Legend”. I wasn’t allowed to film or take pictures while he was on stage so I’m not posting any of the ones I definitely do not have on my phone at all because they don’t exist.

Sydney Opera House was another “UNESCO Heritage Site bucket list”-item… for some reason. Who knows why places like this get stuck in peoples’ minds, I certainly can’t tell.

It means: if the people make a concerted effort, and their wills unite like the Great Wall, the people will overcome all troubles together.
Other than that, this post isn’t about Chinese proverbs or uniting to overcome obstacles, it’s about my second visit to The Great Wall of China (first visit – click here).

Athens, one of humanity’s many cradles. I had only two days there so obviously the Acropolis was at the top of my list. I added Hadrian’s Gate for good measure, because I’m weirdly fascinated by the myth of Hadrian and it’s right next to the Acropolis.

At this point I was in a state of FOMO-panic so when I read about Hue’s old imperial city I decided I had to go see it.

I can’t believe my second leg of the trip is over already. I’ve covered New York and Washington DC and I’m currently sitting at Union Station waiting for a train to take me to Baltimore Airport. Continue reading
