What do I want to remember from Tokyo? Meeting up with Tia & Rune, crossing the Shibuya crossing and realizing halfway through that I was crossing the Shibuya crossing(WOOP!), meeting Marlene & Bent, spending half an hour trying to get out of Shibuya Station upon arrival to the city… There’s so much. I liked Tokyo. I liked it a lot.

Macau :: One day is enough

I went to Macau just to cross it off my list, really. It’s an easy ferry ride from Hong Kong and you REALLY don’t need more than a few hours to get a feel for the place. A bonus is that the casinos/hotels have free shuttles that take you everywhere so you don’t pay for transport. I thought this was only to the major casinos so I was pleasantly surprised.

Myanmar :: Shwedagon Pagoda

Shwedagon Pagoda is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar, as it is believed to contain relics of the four previous Buddhas of the present kalpa.

The only I really wanted to see in Yangon was the Shwedagon Pagoda so I settled on a hotel within walking distance and planned this ONE thing for my time here. Turned out great, since I got sick when I hit Myanmar and ended up just lying in bed for three days.
