I had mentioned to my taco girls that I wanted to organize a trip for a weekend somewhere in Europe. I had planned to just go and anyone who wanted to join me could. Turns out they all joined for this, hopefully, first of many girls’ trips ❤

My goddaughter turns 18 this year and my gift was a weekend trip to whatever destination she wanted. She chose Iceland and we spent 1,5 days shopping for vintage clothing and eating rye bread ice cream in Reykjavik, and an 8 hour guided trip around the Golden Circle.

Birthday present for Marie this year was taking her to a surprise destination for a weekend. I chose Vienna since none of us had been there before. I was hoping to go see an opera at the famous Opera House, but unfortunately “Carmen” was completely sold out when I checked and the only alternative was something I’d never heard of that was about 5 hours long… I decided against that and instead booked tickets for the “Light of Creation” light show in the Votiv Church, opting for a nice hotel within walking distance.
